Enderby

Enderby (pop. 2,828)is a city in North Okanagan, in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia in Canada. The city is built along the banks of the Shuswap River, which connects Mabel Lake to the east, and Mara Lake to the north. Enderby is approximately 80 km north of Kelowna, and 130 km east of Kamloops.

There is a variety of agriculture and industry in the town, including dairy farming, cattle ranching, grain production as well as wood mills. Recreation in Enderby is dominated by outdoor activities, with boating, hunting, fishing and wilderness vacation resorts popular with Canadians and international holidaymakers. The eco-tourism industry on the Shuswap River and surrounding area is becoming very important.
